Years on the NLS team: 1995-present

Role: I have been responsible for programming questionnaires and preparing the data for public release.

What innovations have I helped introduce to the NLS

I started working on the NLSY97 during its initial design stages. I have been heavily involved in the programming and testing of every part of this survey since its beginning. I have worked closely with the technical staff to help improve our methods for testing both the CAPI questionnaire and underlying survey software. Through this effort, we have been successful in minimizing technical problems that can both harm data quality and cause respondent and interviewer frustration.
